Using High Traffic Relevant Topics To Go Viral

Infographics are a popular way of publishing content these days. But we see so many websites getting it wrong. They tend to create infographics around very specific verticals, and then they’re surprised when they don’t go viral.

The thing is, for something to go viral it needs to appeal to a large audience. So, when thinking of a topic try to figure out a way to link in a large audience whilst keeping your topic relevant.

A great example of this was a knife company who created an infographic about the different kinds of knives infamous serial killers used, and it went viral.

Below is another more recent example. Bookup.Asia are using the undeniable virality of celebrity to appeal to a much larger audience than people specifically interested in cosmetic surgery.
